Before you start, you need:

  • Seyaq Shopping Assistant on your store for a few days, so there is something to show.
  • A WordPress login as the store's owner or an Admin, Support or Analyst member in the plugin's Team.

Shopping Assistant → Overview shows everything the assistant did for your store in the last 7, 30 or 90 days; choose the period at the top. Figures are updated every 15 minutes and never identify a shopper.

The tiles#

TileWhat it counts
ConversationsConversations shoppers had with the assistant.
Assisted ordersOrders placed within 2 hours after the assistant's cart review, or within 24 hours after the shopper used it.
Assisted revenueThose orders' value, after refunds.
Average order valueAssisted revenue divided by assisted orders, while they are all in one currency.
Conversion rateAssisted orders out of conversations.
Added to cartItems shoppers added to the cart through the assistant.

Under each tile is the change against the previous period of the same length, once there is enough to compare. An assisted order shows where the assistant was involved, not what it caused; to measure its effect, see Where it shows in Make the assistant yours.

Read it from top to bottom#

  1. Follow the day-by-day chart

Day by day shows conversations, assisted orders or assisted revenue for each day; switch between them above the chart.

  2. See what shoppers ask

What shoppers ask shows how many questions were answered, had no answer or found no matching product. The questions themselves are listed further down.

  3. Act on the suggestions

Suggestions turns the period's figures into a few small changes, each with a button to the right screen, such as adding missing store information.

  4. Check what sells

Top products lists what shoppers clicked and added to the cart from the assistant.

The lists to act on#

  • Shoppers and the assistant: each step, from seeing the button to checkout and requests to your team.
  • Assisted orders: how orders are counted and, while you measure the assistant's effect, orders from visitors with and without it.
  • Questions the assistant could not answer and Searches with no matching product: what shoppers wrote, once two different shoppers asked it, with contact details removed.
  • Missing store information: topics shoppers asked about that your store information doesn't cover yet. Add them in Store information.
  • Cart changes that did not go through: which changes your store refused, and the reason.
  • Requests from shoppers, and the short notes the assistant offered next to its button and what shoppers did with them.
