  1. Read conversations
  2. Answer shopper requests

Before you start, you need:

  • Seyaq Shopping Assistant on your store: Set up Seyaq Shopping Assistant.
  • A WordPress login as the store's owner or an Admin or Support member in the plugin's Team.

Read conversations#

  1. Open Conversations

In WordPress, open Shopping Assistant → Conversations. Each row shows the first question, what happened — products shown, added to cart, a request sent or an order — the number of messages and the last one.

  2. Open one

Press View. The conversation reads like a chat, with the products the shopper saw and each cart change and how it ended. At a glance sums it up.

  3. Know what is hidden

Contact details and long numbers are hidden. Each conversation is deleted automatically after the days set in Contact and privacy, and the page shows the date.

Answer shopper requests#

  1. Open Shopper requests

Open Shopping Assistant → Shopper requests. Open and waiting shows what needs you, and Assigned to me shows yours. Each request shows its type — a return, an exchange, cancelling an order, a problem with an order, a question about a product or something else — and its order.

  2. Reply, or add a note

Reply to the shopper (sent by email) writes to them. An Internal note is for your team only.

  3. Assign it and update the status

Under Status and assignment, assign the request and set it to Waiting for the shopper, Resolved or Declined.

  4. Record what was done

When you resolve or decline a request, choose what happened — for example a refund made in WooCommerce or an order cancelled there — and write the Outcome for the shopper. The shopper sees it and gets it by email.
