  1. Set it up in six steps
  2. Follow the setup checklist
  3. What your store needs

Before you start, you need:

  • A WooCommerce store on WordPress 7.0 or later, with WooCommerce 11.0 or later and PHP 7.4 or later.
  • A WordPress login as an administrator.
  • A Seyaq account. If you don't have one yet, create it from the Seyaq Shopping Assistant page.

Seyaq Shopping Assistant is an AI chat assistant on your own WooCommerce store. It answers shoppers from your products and the store information you publish, compares products, and changes the cart only after the shopper presses Confirm. Shoppers can also search with a photo or send a voice message. You run it from the Shopping Assistant menu in WordPress; plans and invoices are on your Seyaq account.

Set it up in six steps#

  1. Download the plugin from your Seyaq account

Sign in on seyaq.ai, open Store subscriptions and press Download the plugin. The same page always has the latest version.

  2. Install it in WordPress

In WordPress admin → Plugins → Add Plugin → Upload Plugin, choose the file, press Install Now, then Activate Plugin. Shopping Assistant appears in the WordPress menu.

  3. Connect your store

Open Shopping Assistant → Overview and press Connect store. On seyaq.ai, sign in with the account that will own this store's subscription and press Connect and return to WordPress. Back in WordPress, your products start syncing.

  4. Add your shipping and returns information

In Store information, publish the pages or answers the assistant may use: Teach the assistant about your store.

  5. Choose the name, colours and tone, then publish

In Assistant, change what you like and press Save draft, then Preview on your store to try it on your storefront. Shoppers see it once you press Publish.

  6. Start the free trial or choose a plan

Once the first product sync has finished, the store's owner presses Start free trial on the Overview, or chooses a plan on Store subscriptions. The assistant then answers shoppers on your store.

Follow the setup checklist#

Until setup is done, the Overview lists the steps and how many are done, with a button for the next one.
