Terms of Service

1. Who you are contracting with

Seyaq is operated by Seyaq LLC, a limited liability company formed in the Sharjah Media City free zone under licence No. 2648808.01 issued by the Sharjah Media City Free Zone Authority (Shams), with its registered address at Shams Business Center, Sharjah Media City Free Zone, Al Messaned, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Your contract for the Service is with Seyaq LLC.

Seyaq LLC is not registered for UAE VAT, so no UAE VAT is added to our fees. Where any sales tax, VAT or equivalent applies in your own country, it is shown at checkout whenever we are required to collect it.

2. The Service

Seyaq connects to your e-commerce store (via OAuth, an access token, or a product feed), normalizes your catalog, and publishes machine-readable assets (an MCP endpoint, JSON-LD, llms.txt, an agent page) and AEO audit reports so AI assistants can understand and recommend your products.

Seyaq never processes payments. Checkout always redirects to your own store; we never handle or store card data.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must have authority to connect any store you add.

4. Plans, billing and cancellation

Paid plans are sold by Seyaq LLC. Payments are processed securely by Stripe (Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates), which collects your payment details directly — card data never touches Seyaq. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy apply to the processing of your payment.

Fees are stated in US dollars; at checkout the equivalent amount may be presented and charged in your local currency (for example SAR or AED). Subscriptions are billed for the interval shown at checkout and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.

Free trial. A self-serve plan may start with a free trial for a new account's first subscription — one per business and per store. Whether a plan has a trial, and how long it lasts, is shown on the pricing page and at checkout before you subscribe. A payment card is required at checkout. Nothing is charged for the plan during the trial; a one-time service bought with it is charged when bought. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically, the plan fee is charged on the day the trial ends, and it then renews as described above. We email you a reminder before that charge — at least 7 days before it, or when the trial starts if the trial lasts 7 days or less. You can cancel during the trial from your dashboard and you will not be charged. If we find that a business or store has already had a free trial, we may end the repeat trial after telling you, and you can cancel before any charge.

If a payment fails, we may pause your store’s AI visibility after the provider’s retry period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except as set out in the next section or where the law requires otherwise.

5. Refunds

A plan that starts with a free trial has no refund period: the trial is the time to evaluate Seyaq, and the first charge after it is not refundable. For a plan bought without a free trial, if you contact us within 14 days of your first payment and no paid benchmark report has yet been produced for your store, we will refund that payment in full. After a report has been produced, or after those 14 days, fees for the current period are not refundable.

Refunds are issued through Stripe to the original payment method, in the currency you paid in. Nothing here limits any mandatory right you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

6. Your content and licence

You retain ownership of your catalog and store data. You grant Seyaq a licence to ingest, process, cache and publish that data solely to provide the Service, including exposing it to AI assistants through the machine-readable assets you enable.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to publish unlawful, infringing or misleading product information, to abuse the platform’s rate limits, or to attempt to breach its security or tenant isolation.

8. Third-party platforms

Connecting Salla, Shopify or other platforms is subject to those platforms’ own terms. We are not responsible for changes they make to their APIs or for interruptions on their side.

9. Availability and disclaimer

We work to keep the Service available and accurate but provide it "as is", without warranties. AI assistants are third parties; we do not guarantee 100% that any assistant will recommend your products.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seyaq is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of the Service, are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Sharjah, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

The courts of the Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute. Before filing a claim, please write to legal@seyaq.ai so we can try to resolve it directly.

If you deal with us as a consumer, this clause does not remove any mandatory protection or forum available to you under the law of the country in which you reside.

12. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms and will post the revised version here with a new “last updated” date; material changes take effect for existing subscribers at their next renewal. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

13. Seyaq Shopping Assistant

If you use the Seyaq Shopping Assistant, its own terms (seyaq.ai/en/shopping-assistant/terms) — with the Data Processing Agreement (seyaq.ai/en/shopping-assistant/dpa) and the Acceptable Use Policy (seyaq.ai/en/shopping-assistant/acceptable-use) — also apply; where they differ, they apply to the Shopping Assistant.
