Before you start, you need:

  • A WordPress site with WooCommerce active, working over https, with pretty permalinks turned on: in WordPress admin → Settings → Permalinks, any option except Plain, such as Post name.
  • A WordPress login as an administrator to install the plugin. An administrator or shop manager can then connect it and approve Seyaq.
  • A Seyaq account. If you don't have one yet, you create it while you connect.

Seyaq for WooCommerce is a free plugin. You install it from WordPress.org, press Connect to Seyaq in WordPress, and finish on seyaq.ai. Your products then sync automatically, and the plugin adds your product data to your storefront.

Connect in four steps#

  1. Install the plugin from WordPress.org

In WordPress admin → Plugins → Add New, search for Seyaq for WooCommerce, press Install Now, then Activate. The Seyaq screen opens. You'll find it again under Seyaq in the WordPress menu.

  2. Press Connect to Seyaq, then sign in or create your account

seyaq.ai opens with your site already filled in.

    • New to Seyaq? Press Create account, choose a plan, create your account, enter the code we email you and start your free trial. Your store is set up for WooCommerce and named after your site.
    • Already have an account? Press Sign in, or Sign in with Google.
  3. Choose your store and approve Seyaq in WooCommerce

If you signed in, pick which of your Seyaq stores this site is. Seyaq suggests a store, and Add as a new store appears when your plan has room. If you choose a store set up for another address, tick the box to move it to this site. Press Continue. If that store is already connected to this site, there's no second approval. Otherwise, press Continue to WooCommerce: WooCommerce's own approval screen opens on your site. Sign in to WordPress if asked, then press Approve.

  4. Back in WordPress, let the first sync finish

You return to the Seyaq screen, connected, and your products start syncing. The setup checklist fills in as the sync runs and Seyaq checks your storefront. Your Seyaq dashboard shows the same on the Connect store page.

The Seyaq screen in WordPress#

  • Setup: whether WooCommerce is connected, your products synced, and your product data, llms.txt and AI-readable catalog page are live on your storefront. Press Verify now to check your storefront again.
  • Your AI visibility score from your latest weekly report, and your Plan, with the days left in your free trial while it runs.
  • On your storefront: two switches, one to add product data and AI links to your pages, one to serve /llms.txt from Seyaq. Press Save changes to apply them.
  • A Seyaq box on your WordPress Dashboard with a short summary. To hide it, use Screen Options at the top of the Dashboard.
  • If your WordPress admin is in Arabic, every Seyaq screen is in Arabic, right to left, straight away.

What Seyaq takes from WooCommerce#

  • Products and their variations, each product's main category, brands, up to 10 images, and descriptions.
  • Prices and stock, in your WooCommerce currency. Seyaq uses the sale price while one is active, and for a product with variations, the lowest price you can buy it at.
  • Titles and descriptions as you wrote them, in the language you wrote them in. Seyaq never translates them.
  • Draft, pending, scheduled, private, hidden and password-protected products arrive as drafts, which stay hidden from AI assistants.

What the plugin adds to your storefront#

The plugin adds your product data to your product pages and your store details to the rest of your storefront. It also links to your AI-readable catalog page, and makes /llms.txt (a summary file for AI tools) on your own domain open your Seyaq file, unless your site already has its own llms.txt. It adds no product data to cart, checkout or account pages, and reads nothing from orders, customers or payments. It needs WordPress 6.5, WooCommerce 8.0 and PHP 7.4 or later.

To check it from your Seyaq dashboard, press Verify now in step 4, Verify installation, on the Connect store page once the first sync has finished. The Seyaq for WooCommerce plugin check should show Found. Seyaq repeats the check every day.

You need the store code shown in step 3 only if you connect under Other ways to connect on the Seyaq screen. It appears once your store is live.

What happens next#

  • Product changes in WooCommerce reach Seyaq within minutes through verified notifications, and a full sync runs every day to catch anything missed. To pull everything again now, press Sync products on the Connect store page.
  • Once the first sync completes, Seyaq prepares your tracked shopping questions from your catalog and starts your first audit automatically. To review this setup any time, press Audit settings on the Visibility reports page.
  • If your catalog is larger than your plan allows, the sync imports up to the limit and says so in the Store data sync section. Compare plans.

Disconnect, or revoke Seyaq's key#

  • Disconnect this site on the Seyaq screen in WordPress stops Seyaq on your storefront: product data, AI links and /llms.txt. Your Seyaq account, plan and reports stay, and your products keep syncing. To stop the sync as well, press Disconnect WooCommerce in your Seyaq dashboard.
  • Pressing Disconnect WooCommerce on the Connect store page removes Seyaq's notifications from your site, deletes Seyaq's copy of the access key and stops the sync. The store stays paused until you reconnect.
  • Your imported products stay, unless you tick the option to delete them, or delete them later from the Connect store page. Deleting can't be undone. It also clears the saved address, so reconnecting starts again at Check address and imports the products again. Products you added in Seyaq always stay.
  • To revoke the key in WooCommerce itself, go to WordPress admin → WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API keys, and revoke the key whose name starts with Seyaq. If you do this while connected, the Connect store page asks you to press Re-connect WooCommerce the next time Seyaq tries to sync.
