Before you start, you need:

  • A connected store whose first sync has finished. Steps 3 and 4 of the Connect store page fill in only after that.
  • Access to your store's theme or code settings, or a developer who has it.
  • If you use a product feed or file: your store link, saved on the Connect store page.

Once your store is connected and synced, Seyaq prepares machine-readable versions of your catalog that compatible AI tools can read. This guide shows how to add them to your own domain, check that they work, and keep them working.

Each AI service decides for itself whether to use this information.

What Seyaq prepares for your store#

Open the Connect store page from the sidebar. Once the first sync has finished, step 3, Add Seyaq to your storefront, holds two addresses, and the MCP endpoint card below the steps holds a third. Each has a copy button:

  • AI-readable catalog page: one page with your store's name, policies, categories and products, including prices and availability in JSON-LD, a standard format for product data that AI tools can read. Open page opens it.
  • llms.txt: a short file that introduces your store to AI tools, with who you are, your policies, your categories and your top products. Show content opens the file.
  • MCP endpoint: an MCP connection. MCP is a standard way for AI apps to connect to online services. Compatible AI apps can use it to search your catalog, read your policies and create links to your own checkout.

These make your store available to compatible AI tools. Whether and when a particular AI service uses them is that service's decision, and Seyaq can't confirm that it did.

Add them to your own store#

Step 3 starts with adding the same product data to your own storefront, where AI crawlers (programs that read websites automatically) find it. How you do this depends on your platform:

  • Salla: there is nothing to paste. The Seyaq app adds the data when you connect, and Salla usually publishes llms.txt on your domain itself. If step 4 doesn't find them after a few minutes, approve the app update if Salla asks for one, then check again. Still missing? Open Still not appearing? Add it manually and paste the code block exactly as shown, in the Salla dashboard → Store Design → Customize → Theme Customization → JavaScript.
  • Shopify: press Open the theme editor, switch Seyaq on under App embeds in the Shopify theme editor, and press Save. Then press Add the /llms.txt redirect in the llms.txt card. See Connect your Shopify store.
  • WooCommerce: install Seyaq for WooCommerce from WordPress.org (Open on WordPress.org), then open Seyaq in the WordPress menu and press Connect to Seyaq. The plugin adds the product data and also serves /llms.txt. See Connect your WooCommerce store.
  • Product feed or file: copy the line under Install on your own store into your platform's custom-code box for the page head, where analytics codes usually go. Then use your platform's URL redirects to point /llms.txt to the address in the llms.txt card. If your platform has no redirects, link that address from your store footer instead.

Also in step 3, under AI-readable catalog page: link that page from your store footer so it's easier to find. Check first, as it may already be there.

Prefer not to use the Shopify app embed or the WooCommerce plugin? Open Manual setup at the bottom of the page for the same one-line code, to add by hand.

Check that it works#

  1. Press Verify now in step 4, Verify installation

Seyaq opens your published store pages the way AI crawlers see them, and marks each item Found or Not found.

  2. Look at the two main checks

These two rows matter most; the others are for information:

    • Seyaq code added to your store (on Salla: Installed on your store automatically): Seyaq's product data is on your pages. On WooCommerce, Seyaq for WooCommerce plugin also confirms that the plugin is active.
    • llms.txt on your domain: the /llms.txt address on your domain opens your Seyaq file. On Salla, the file that Salla publishes counts.
  3. Fix anything missing, then check again

Changes to your store can take a few minutes to show. Once both main checks are found, steps 3 and 4 show a check mark.

What happens next#

  • Seyaq repeats the check by itself every day.
  • If your product data disappears from your storefront, for example after a theme update, an alert appears under Store issues on your dashboard. It is not emailed.
  • A missing llms.txt shows as an unchecked item in the check, not as an alert.
  • AI agent requests (7 days), in the Store health section of your dashboard, counts the requests that reached your MCP connection.

Keep your policies current#

Compatible AI tools receive your returns, exchange, shipping and warranty policies and your delivery estimate word for word, through your catalog page, llms.txt and MCP connection. Open the Policies page from the sidebar, fill in each policy in Arabic and English, and press Save policies.

MCP keys and checkout#

  • Reading your catalog through the MCP connection needs no key, but the number of requests is limited.
  • Some AI apps need a key: read for catalog access, or checkout to create checkout links. The Seyaq team issues keys on request; contact us and name the app. A key is shown only once.
  • Checkout links always open your own store. Shoppers pay there, and Seyaq never sees card details.
  • To try it yourself, press Connect MCP app in the MCP endpoint card on the Connect store page. It gives a ready-made setup for ChatGPT, Claude and other desktop apps that support MCP.

If something doesn't work#
